The 'Boonie' Hat is a wide-brim hat commonly used by Military forces in Tropical climates, similar in design to a bucket hat but with a stiffer brim.
Mister Freedom's iteration, 'Stingy', is cut in Japan from 100% cotton French Lizard camouflage and features metal ventilation mesh screen eyelets, while the crown has been lined with ERDL ripstop fabric. The parallel stitch on the brim helps keep the structure intact while the 'foliage rings' throughout add nothing more than a touch of detail and a nod to original designs where they were used in the field.
